Board Development Committee Chair

Helen Kaiao Chang is a freelance journalist and ghostwriter specializing in business and motivational topics. Her work has appeared in MSNBC.com, Fodors.com, Time, BusinessWeek, San Francisco Chronicle, San Diego Business Journal and many other publications. She is the collaborative writer of two real estate investing books, including Flip and Grow Rich, by Armando Montelongo, star of A&E’s “Flip This House.” She is also the co-author of a forthcoming book on socially responsible investing. As a board member of AAJA San Diego, she organizes events for journalism career development.

Regina Ip
Programs Committee Chair

Regina Ip is currently a senior at University of California, San Diego, majoring in communication and biology. She has worked as a news editor for UCSD’s award-winning student paper, The Guardian. In addition, she has written articles for Poway.Patch.com, SDNN.com and SanDiegoNewsRoom.com. Besides journalism, Regina interned with UCSD’s Health Systems Marketing and Communications in addition to UCSD’s Center for Comprehensive Research Center for Health Disparities. Also, she has also worked as a research design editor and review board member for Saltman Quarterly, an undergraduate biology research journal.
