Three local journalists who have worked abroad shared their thoughts and answered questions at an AAJA San Diego informal panel, “International Reporting: How to Be a Journalist Overseas.”
The event held May 14 brought together Christopher Chan, a video journalist who works for NBC and SDNN; Jenny Hamel, a CW 6 television anchor, and Hayne Palmour, a photographer for the North County Times. The panel was moderated by Helen Chang, business editor for SDNN.com and AAJA San Diego’s secretary.
