Check out “Left by the Ship,” a documentary about mixed-race Filipinos who are born to American sailors and reveal the lives their fathers left behind.
AAJA San Diego is sponsoring this documentary in support of the San Diego Asian Film Festival, which is in its 12th year of showcasing Pan-Asian cinema in North America. The festival runs from October 20 to 28 this year.

The film, which is in English and Tagalog with subtitles, will be shown on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 5:20 p.m. (Q&A with cast and crew after) and Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 5:30 p.m.
