How can the Asian American community effectively capture the media’s attention to increase their voice? How does the media determine value in your story and how can you effectively engage the media in a conversation? Find out how the media chooses which stories to cover and meet well-known Southern California Asian American journalists at September’s Asian Community Luncheon.

Hosted by ACL’s business and civic leaders Joe Long and Julio DeGuzman alongside AAJA San Diego.
The panel will be moderated by Helen Kaiao Chang, award-winning journalist and business author.
Jenny Hamel will emcee the event. She is a reporter and anchor at San Diego 6 News the CW.
