Congratulations to AAJA San Diego President Jessica Chang and Vice President Andrea Nakano, who are recipients of Pacific Southwest Emmys. They are recognized for their outstanding achievements in television.

The 35th Annual Pacific Southwest Emmy Awards was held Saturday, June 13 at the San Diego Hilton Bayfront.
Nominations were announced on April 30 by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Pacific Southwest Chapter. The awards recognize excellence in television in the area including San Diego, Bakersfield, Palm Springs, San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria, Santa Barbara and Las Vegas.
Along with her colleagues at Channel 4 San Diego, Chang was recognized for the feature “Faith and the Fires” in the Religion - Program or Special category.
Nakano and others at XETV Channel 6 have in the Sports - Program Sports Feature Segment category for the segment “Armless Umpire.”
