AAJA San Diego President Jessica Chang and Vice President Andrea Nakano are among the nominees for the Pacific Southwest Emmys.

Nominations were announced on April 30 by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Pacific Southwest Chapter. The awards recognize excellence in television in the area including San Diego, Bakersfield, Palm Springs, San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria, Santa Barbara and Las Vegas.
Along with her colleagues at Channel 4 San Diego, Chang is a nominee for the feature “Faith and the Fires.” She was nominated in the Religion - Program or Special category.
Nakano and others at XETV Channel 6 are nominated in the Sports - Program Sports Feature Segment category for the segment “Armless Umpire.”
